The 2009 event raised over $4,200 bringing the total since 2004 to over $25,000.

18 Chili Cooking Teams competed Sunday September 20th, 2009 for the $850 purse and custom designed trophy.  Hundreds joined us to savor the chili and help us support the Children's Village Foundation.

Coeur d'Alene Honda's annual Chili Cook-off & Fundraiser benefits Children's Village Foundation, Inc.

This non-profit corporation supports Children's Village, Inc. a residential program serving local children in need. Over 1,000 children have found a caring and safe home since it's inception.   The Children's Village is a local care facility whose mission is to care for, advocate and provide a safe, loving, nurturing and healing home for children.  Those children who have been abused, neglected, homeless, or are in a severe family crisis.


This annual event is supported by local riders clubs, chefs, cooks and tasters!  Funds are raised through a drawing for prizes donated by Coeur d'Alene Honda and by donating $5 to sample all the Chili you can eat!
